Taking place in DIFC Conference Centre, a session was hosted to discuss the enhancements and implications of the newly enacted Employment Law. The new law compliments our commitment to international best practice, with the Employment Law addressing key issues such as paternity leave, sick pay and end-of-service settlements. Coming into effect on 28th of August 2019, the law centres around the necessity to balance the needs of employers and employees in DIFC while maintaining a robust framework of employment standards that contribute to the success of the Centre.

As Jacques Visser said during the session: “These enhancements are integral to creating an attractive environment for both employers and the 24,000+ workforce based in the DIFC.”
